Numerical Methods & Libraries

NUM

The Numerical Methods & Libraries department (NUM) of HLRS provides numerical libraries and compilers for the different machines. We try to understand the high performance implementation of algorithms on different processors including vectorization based on the architecture of modern computers. Research topics are concerned with the simulation of blood flow and bone fracture in the human body. The department is responsible for the course Fortran for Scientific Computing.
