Intelligent Service Infrastructures

The Intelligent Service Infrastructures [ISIS] division focuses on providing support for service infrastructures on top of the internet, such as pursued by the Web Service community. One of the research aims thereby consists in enhancing this support with intelligent features so as to increase capabilities, simplify management, improve performance etc.

Current Grid middlewares do not cater for such capabilities and leave basically all management up to the user. The ISIS team enhances these middlewares and promotes new alternative approaches to build up the future, community-steered internet.
