Topologically correct Isosurfaces in COVISE

Isosurfaces are generally computed by the wide-spread marching cubes algorithm. These algorithm's usually relies on a small lookup table. However, this lookup table can lead to cracks and inconsistent topology.

Certain applications rely on isosurfaces that are topologically correct.
We implemented a COVISE module that computes topologically correct isosurfaces based on an efficient alogithm described by Lewiner et al. on structured grids.

An example application is the computation of isosurfaces in measured data taken from tarmac based on CT-scans.
