Job Processing System (SAPHIR)

SAPHIR (Secure Access Portal to HPC Internet Resources) is a system under development at HLRS which uses FTM capabilities to support the submission and execution of complex jobs described using a workflow model, in which a job is represented as an XML file defining a number of tasks, each specifying its input requirements, computational process(es), and distribution of its results. Once consigned, the job workflow is carried out by a SAPHIR job processor.
This system will be available for testing in the near future. Meanwhile, users are invited to contact the HLRS for more information, and to contribute their requirements to this project.
