HPE Cray EX4000 (Hunter)

HLRS’s flagship supercomputer offers high performance and energy efficiency, while supporting our system users in transitioning to the massively parallel, GPU-accelerated future of exascale computing.

NEC Cluster (Vulcan)

Vulcan is continually updated to meet new demands and provide requirement-optimized solutions. It includes CPU, GPU, and vector computing components.

Hawk AI Expansion

Initially installed as part of HLRS’s previous flagship system, Hawk, the AI expansion continues to offer NVIDIA GPUs suitable for machine learning and artificial intelligence applications.

CAVE

This immersive 3D facility offers powerful tools for visualizing and interacting with large, complex data sets in virtual and augmented reality.

HPSS Data Management

Our high-performance storage system is designed to safely manage and archive petabytes of data saved on disks and in tape libraries.

NVIDIA GB200 NVL4 by HPE (HammerHAI)

This AI-optimized supercomputer will offer a powerful platform for medium- to large-scale workloads for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science.

HPE Cray GX5000 (Herder)

Scheduled to arrive in late 2027, HLRS’s next flagship supercomputer will support both high-performance simulation and data-driven methods, as well as converged computing workflows.
