Media Solution Center BW

For a better interconnectedness of industry and research in the fields of simulation and high performance computing, the state of Baden-Württemberg supports so-called Solution Centers, which contribute to technology transfer by establishing a network within a specific industry as well as by doing their own research projects.

The Media Solution Center BW Projekt aims at setting up such a Solution Center also for the media industry. The project partners are the media university Stuttgart (www.hdm-stuttgart.de), the Filmakademie BW (www.filmakademie.de), the center for media and art technology in Karlsruhe (www.zkm.de) and the HLRS as the coordination partner.

The different competences of the single project partners will be bundled to thereby cover the different fields of knowledge about HPC and media.
