Automotive Testing Expo 2026

EXCELLERAT & Friends - Industry–Academia Collaboration at Vehicle Tech Week Europe 2026

EXCELLERAT P2 will participate in Vehicle Tech Week Europe 2026 with an Academia–Industry Collaboration area presenting European expertise in HPC, AI, simulation, visualization, digital twins, autonomous mobility, testing and materials innovation.

Vehicle Tech Week Europe brings together three major automotive exhibitions: Automotive Testing Expo Europe, Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo Europe and Automotive Interiors Expo Europe. The event provides a unique platform for automotive testing, validation, autonomous systems, software-defined vehicles, simulation, materials, interiors and next-generation vehicle technologies.

As the European Centre of Excellence for Engineering Applications, EXCELLERAT P2 will present how high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics, data management, visualization and large-scale simulation workflows can support concrete automotive challenges.

The EXCELLERAT Academia–Industry Collaboration area continues the concept developed in 2024 and 2025, bringing together European research organisations, universities, HPC centres, AI Factories and academic partners to connect with automotive industry stakeholders.

The focus will be on practical research-driven solutions for:

  • large-scale simulation workflows for automotive engineering;
  • HPC-supported virtual testing and validation;
  • AI and machine learning for engineering workflows;
  • data management and high-performance data analytics;
  • digital twins and simulation-based decision-making;
  • scientific visualization, VR/AR and immersive engineering analysis;
  • autonomous vehicle testing, simulation and validation;
  • vehicle-in-the-loop testing and teleoperation;
  • materials, interiors, thermal behaviour, aeroacoustics and component
    simulation;
  • training and upskilling for HPC, AI, simulation and data-driven
    engineering.

EXCELLERAT P2 will be joined by academic and research partners contributing complementary expertise across the vehicle technology ecosystem:
