Matthias Hauser has had extensive experience managing the dialogue between Arts and Technology. He received a formal education in music. During his professional career as a musician, Matthias Hauser understood that art is a comprehensive system with specific artistic languages in dialogue. Connecting these worlds: art, culture, science, technology and society has been the focus of his work for many years.

In 2019, Matthias was appointed as the first director of the Media Solution Centre bw e.V. (MSC) and since 2024 he has also headed the department at HLRS for the Culture & Creative Industries.

Matthias bridges between HLRS's computing capacity the needs of culture- and creative industries, corporations, research centers, art institutions, and social organizations in computing resources, digitization and artificial intelligence.
