Research Scientist
Ashley Smith is involved in the SEQUOIA End-to-End project and is investigating how to meaningfully benchmark quantum computers.
He studied mathematics and physics at the University of Bristol, where he gained a strong theoretical background in quantum mechanics and quantum information theory.
He also gained a working knowledge of HPC during his studies in computational chemistry at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
