Fabian Dembski focuses on Global Systems Science (GSS), digital transformation in urban planning and urban design, as well as collaborative and participatory processes supported by digital tools and methods. His research also addresses the development of urban digital twins for more sustainable and democratic cities and processes, as well as their visualisation in virtual reality and augmented reality.
He is currently a research professor at Tallinn University of Technology in the GreenTwins project, which is developing digital twins for green spaces and vegetation in Tallinn and Helsinki, as well as new methods for citizen participation and cooperative processes. HLRS is a cooperation partner in this project.
