Dr.-Ing. Katharina Immel

Scientific Project Manager

Dr. Katharina Immel is a project manager in the Project Controlling and Management Office (PCMO). She oversees and coordinates the EU Coordination and Support Action CASTIEL 3 and assists with the management of EuroCC 3.

Dr. Katharina Immel earned her joint Ph.D. in Computational Engineering Science, with a focus on computational biomechanics, from RWTH Aachen University and Université Paris-Est. Before joining PCMO, she worked as a Scientific Coordinator at the Institute for Advanced Simulation at the Jülich Research Center.
