PHANTOM

Keyvisual image main

The project aims to address the challenges of energy-efficient parallel infrastructure development based on acceleratable heterogeneous hardware such as GPU, CPU, and FPGA in domains like cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things, or high-performance computing.

One of the main challenges is the availability of a cross-hardware programming model that is able to hide the complexity between the computing hardware platforms and the application families.

PHANTOM's main objective is to deliver an integrated cross-layer (hardware and programming environment), multi-objective, and cross-application approach that will enable next generation heterogeneous, parallel and low-power computing systems, while hiding the complexity of computing hardware from the programmer, thus fostering productivity in programming.
