Dr. Martin Hecht

Information Security Officer

Dr. Martin Hecht is in charge of information security at HLRS. Among other duties, he manages the various policies, evaluates the risk during the planning of new systems or business processes, keeps himself and his colleagues informed about current threats, and organizes the technical and organizational measures to address the identified risks. In the case of an information security incident, he coordinates the activities to limit the impact, improve the security, and bring the services back to normal operation.

Furthermore, Dr. Hecht is working on the certification of the HLRS’s information security management system and on the continuous improvement of processes.
