Matvey Fridman is the manager for two S+T+ARTS projects HLRS is involved in: AIR and EC(H)O.

Within AIR he was the project coordinator for the whole consortium with more specific assignments ranging from the definition of the AIR Foundations and Regional Hubs to coordinating the open calls for artists and communicating with partner institutions.

Within EC(H)O he is supervising the 4 artistic residencies HLRS is involved in, working on a documentary film about one of the residencies as well as a future S+T+ARTS Book.

Furthermore he is working on the website for HammerHAI and represents HLRS for the HANAMI project.

As a trained media computer scientist (B.Sc.) and film/television engineer (M.Eng.) Matvey has experience as a freelance media technician, cinematographer, and lighting technician, and his interests lie in the interface of art and technology. Previously, he worked at the Stuttgart Media University as an academic assistant in the Audiovisual Media program, where he took on various tasks in the areas of project organisation and teaching.
